Leavenworth County, Kansas, remains dedicated to our citizens and employees during the current COVID-19 pandemic. The health and safety of our community and workforce is our first priority. The Leavenworth County Health Department, Leavenworth County Emergency Management, Administration, and other departments are working together to monitor and respond to the evolving situation.

The County Courthouse will open to the public on May 4, 2020.

The exterior doors will remain locked, therefore anyone wishing to access the building must schedule an appointment and arrange for someone to escort them in.

Visitors will be required to wear masks.

Leavenworth County Health Department is currently monitoring (114) active cases.

In concert with KDHE, Leavenworth County will update our statistics on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

Anyone who has symptoms of COVID-19 should call the Leavenworth County Health Department's Screening Hotline at 913-250-2000, option 3. The Screening Hotline is staffed Monday-Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. If you have an emergency, call 911.
