Leavenworth County, Kansas, remains dedicated to our citizens and employees during the current COVID-19 pandemic. The health and safety of our community and workforce is our first priority. The Leavenworth County Health Department, Leavenworth County Emergency Management, Administration, and other departments are working together to monitor and respond to the evolving situation.

The County Courthouse will open to the public on May 4, 2020.

The exterior doors will remain locked, therefore anyone wishing to access the building must schedule an appointment and arrange for someone to escort them in.

Visitors will be required to wear masks.

Today, Wednesday, June 3, 2020 - Leavenworth County is reporting zero (0) additional community cases, twenty-two (22) additional community recoveries, and zero (0) hospitalizations at this time.

We also had two (2) community cases reassigned to other counties as the individuals did not permanently reside in Leavenworth County.
